Ok, but like, aside from being fun little stim toys, you can buy some of these toys in bulk and put together a Halloween toy bin that people can choose from instead of candy.
Every time I have done this, I have run out of toys before running out of candy. It is amazing how people - especially older kids taking younger siblings out for trick-or-treating - actually prefer the silly little toys.
When I was a kid, I asked for the magazine of toys that one of the teachers was looking at. The complete madman gave it to me. So at 10, I had the distributor magazine that teachers used to buy toys and shit for prizes and project sets. It was the holy goddamn grail. All of it for ridiculously cheap and in gross sizes. You bet your ass I used it.
The aid I just spoke with for my Republican Rep was really nice and asked if I had any comments to pass along to her
